The Office of International Affairs has awarded 2 students Francille M. Firebaugh Study Abroad scholarships for the 2012-2013 school year. Recipients were awarded money to use towards an approved Ohio State quarter-long or summer-long study abroad program. The scholarship was established February 2, 1990 in honor of Francille M. Firebaugh, vice provost emeritus of international affairs and professor emeritus of family resource management, in recognition of her years at Ohio State and her commitment to international studies. In order to receive the scholarship, students must have an overall GPA of 3.30 and be admitted to an OSU approved study abroad program. Preference is given to students majoring or minoring in international studies.
